Modern, Black + White Wedding with Alt Vibes at The Audrey

Bailey + Kevin’s early fall celebration at The Audrey in Canonsburg, PA was so cool that I could hardly stand it. Except I did…and it was amazing. These two wanted a clean, moody-minimalist vibe for their day that still showcased their personality, and I think they definitely delivered!

The color scheme was black and white with pops of mauve, which fit in perfectly with the interior of the Audrey! They included plenty of cute personal details, like a record-shaped display where guests dropped in signed guitar picks, a sweet memorial to Bailey’s dad, and references to their cat Rosie on bar signage and the cake!

When I arrived, both Bailey and Kevin were being super chill, hanging out with friends and family. As Bailey got dressed with help from both her mom and Kevin’s mom, Kevin got suited up for the day. I LOVE that both getting ready suites at The Audrey are equally stylish. Nothing bothers me more than a venue with a huge “bridal suite” with a broom closet in the back for the “grooms”. Not all weddings have a bride and a groom…but also, why do they assume men don’t care about where they get ready?

Once everyone was ready, I took Bailey aside for her bridal portraits in the ceremony space. She looked STUNNING!!! I was obsessed with the lace details on her dress. She had a sweet first look with her bridesmaids, who were the most supportive and fun group of girlies I’ve had all year!!! My second Ash took Kevin and his groomsmen outside for their portraits. It’s a little tricky to find good outdoor spots here since it’s in a commercial park, but she killed it!!!

As guests began arriving to the ceremony, they were welcomed with music from a jazz trio – something Kevin specifically requested for the day! The couple exchanged emotional, personally written vows that had both of them tearing up. While the ceremony was pretty short and sweet, it was such a genuine and memorable moment for everyone in attendance. After the ceremony, we took a few quick family portraits and wedding party photos!

During cocktail hour, I took Bailey and Kevin outside for their first official married photos. I focused on making sure they had a good time – B + K aren’t the biggest fans of having photos taken, but there were definitely a few key shots they wanted to remember the day by! Since they wanted a moodier vibe, we also spent some time in one of the getting-ready suites. These are definitely some of my favorite photos of the day – a whole vibe, as the kids say.

Finally, it was time for the reception!!! I never thought I’d say that I experience a hot dog-themed reception entrance before, but I guess there’s a first time for everything! Bailey + Kevin opened the evening with their first dance, toasts, and cake cutting (hi Rosie!). As dinner was wrapping up, guests lined up to take part in Pix & Co’s super swanky photo booth (including me!). Kevin and his mom shared a parent dance, and Bailey danced with Kevin’s dad in a super bittersweet moment.

Then it was time to throw down! Guests partied all night with a dollar dance, garter/bouquet toss, and late-night bites. I got a chance to grab B + K for some nighttime flash photos at the bar, which was simply iconic. I convinced everyone to request “No Hands” to the DJ, and right before I left for the night, he finally played it!!! I ended up doin it with no hands with Rachel from Lush Event Co. on the dance floor.

Everything about Bailey + Kevin’s day was SO MUCH FUN – the support and goofiness from their friends, the incredible vendor team, and the infectious kindness from everyone in attendance was unforgettable. Here’s to the Corcorans 4 eva!!!!
